"I've read everything. I still don't know what to do."

RESTORATION HEALTH COACHING

WEEKLY WELLNESS

Hi Reader,

You've read the studies. You've followed the influencers.

You've downloaded the guides, listened to the podcasts, and spent entire evenings down rabbit holes that started with "best diet for autoimmune" and somehow ended at 1am with you reading a Reddit thread about someone in Finland who healed their Hashimoto's with raw goat milk.

And yet you are still exhausted and still in pain. You're still wondering if you're just missing the one piece that will finally make everything click.

I want to say something to you that I wish someone had said to me sooner:

More information is not your problem. But if information isn't the answer, then what is?

You've been operating under the logical assumption that if you just research hard enough, you'll eventually find the right protocol. The right diet. The right supplement stack. The right combination that finally unlocks healing for your body.

What the Research Actually Shows

A study on decision fatigue published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology found that when we're presented with too many choices and too much conflicting information, our ability to make good decisions doesn't just slow down — it shuts down. We freeze, second-guess every choice we do make and we start over. Again.

And in the context of chronic illness, where your body is already running on fumes, that mental exhaustion isn't just frustrating, it's physically costly.

Every hour you spend overwhelmed and spinning is an hour your nervous system stays stuck in fight-or-flight — the exact state that keeps inflammation high and healing stalled. In many cases, the search for more information is quietly working against you.

There's a passage in Proverbs that I keep coming back to when I work with individuals who are stuck in this cycle.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." — Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)

I'm not going to tell you to just pray and stop researching. I do think there's something profound in that Scripture — do not lean on your own understanding.

What I see, over and over again, in those who are suffering and searching, is someone who has tried to become the sole expert on her own healing and is carrying the entire weight of figuring this out alone.

That weight — the researching, the cross-referencing, the second-guessing — is exhausting before you even have a chance to heal.

You were not designed to carry this alone.

Here's what I want you to consider this week. Just one small shift in perspective.

What if the next right step isn't finding more answers — but finding the right person to help you interpret the ones you already have?

You need someone who can look at you — your labs, your history, your life — and help you cut through the noise with a clear, personalized path forward.

That's the difference between information and wisdom. And wisdom is what actually heals.

I'd love to hear where you are right now. Hit reply and tell me: what's the ONE health question you're most stuck on?

You don't need to share your whole story — just the one thing that keeps circling in your mind, the question you've searched a hundred times and still don't have a clear answer to.

And know that you're not crazy for wanting more than a prescription and a 10-minute appointment. You're not broken for still searching. You're just ready for something better.

And that matters.

With care,
